The entirely curved volutes that support the table top are made of solid briar-plated slabs. The version with the glass top reveals the splendid inlaid “plateaux” and the play of the scrolls that make up the base and support of the table. The version entirely in wood has the top that has a series of bands in walnut, mahogany and briar that enclose the center in walnut.
